APPRENTICE PARTS PERSON

Reporting to: Parts Manager

An amazing opportunity has arisen for a driven and enthusiastic Apprentice Parts Person to join a busy Parts Team at Greenhous Commercials in Shrewsbury. 

This 2 year Parts Apprenticeship is ideal for people who want to enter the industry and go far, the programme offers a genuine chance to learn the role inside out. Vehicles rely on good parts supply, which in turn requires effective stock management at the local dealership, here's your chance to become a professional in parts logistics for commercial vehicles.

Key Responsibilites:

As this role offers a varied workload the Apprentice Parts Person will develop skills in a number of areas, including safe storage of parts, handling, storing and receiving stock, payments, procedures, identifying, sourcing and ordering parts, monitoring and solving customer problems/enquiries and processing of customer orders. You will be working with both customers and workshop staff, over the phone and face to face, using computerised stock management systems and parts identification programme.

Knowledge/Skills/Experience/Special Requirements:

You will be results driven, ready to achieve (and exceed!) performance targets. If you are confident, self-motivated and a good communicator then you could be the person for us. In addition you will possess excellent customer service and administration skills. Having a driving licence would be an advantage but not essential.

Hours of Work:

Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm with an hour for lunch unpaid i.e. 40 hours per week.

SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Reporting to: Service Manager

A great opportunity has arisen to join our Service Team at Greenhous Nissan Featherbed Lane (Shrewsbury) as a Vehicle Technician. 

We have built a reputation on providing courteous and honest service, which together with your efficiency, skill, attention to detail will be key to your success in this role. You will also need to be fully skilled, with some main dealer experience an advantage. An MOT testing qualification would be desirable.

Key Responsibilites:

Accurately and skilfully undertaking the repair and servicing of motor vehicles.

Carrying out inspection and service routines, repairs and testing of vehicles.

Communicating with Parts department to obtain parts needed, inform Workshop Controller if vehicle is awaiting parts and pursue special order of parts if necessary.

Working with other departments to facilitate the servicing and repair of customer vehicles.

Diagnosing vehicle malfunctions, and recommend/perform appropriate repairs.

Ensuring opportunities are identified to improve the business/profitability.

Full knowledge of our products and customer needs.

Support and help colleagues where required to deliver team priorities.

Undertake the necessary training and skills development.

Knowledge/Skills/Experience/Special Requirements:

Nissan experience is preferred but not essential as brand training will be given.

MOT experience would be an added advantage.

Customer orientated.

Previous experience in a similar role.

Hours of Work:

Reporting to: Service Manager

At Greenhous Ford, we are looking for a fully qualified and experienced Vehicle Technician to join our Service team. We are looking for someone who is confident working on multiple brands.

Knowledge/Skills/Experience/Special Requirements:

Experienced and fully qualified

Manufacturer specific training will be provided

Experience on multiple brands would be helpful

Tidy worker, focused and conscientious

Team Player

Committed to working towards our business objectives

Excellent customer service skills

Be able to talk to customers who have minimal knowledge about the mechanics of vehicles

Experience of Video Health Checks would be good but not essential

Hours of Work:

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to join the IT team at High Ercall, whilst also completing an apprenticeship qualification.

This is a 15 month Fixed Term Contract with the possibility of a permanent appointment at the end.

Key Responsibilites:

Assist in network security related projects

Apply the latest security patches and firmware updates to all forms of software and hardware.

Assist with monitoring and resolving any vulnerabilities within the network.

Monitor anti-virus software

Monitor mobile device management software

Produce monthly reports from the Helpdesk system including:

Network usage and overall performance

Anti-Virus Reports

Systems Availability

Patch management status report

Admin Duties:

Keep documentation up to date.

Log jobs on the helpdesk system relating to any security vulnerabilities detected

DIGITAL SALES EXECUTIVE

Reporting to: Sales Manager

Support the sales operation in maintaining all digital channels in order to drive customers to the showroom by increasing our online presence and enhancing the quality of all digital adverts.  Serves customers via telephone, email and any other digital mean by determining requirements, fulfilling requests and maintaining the database. Proactively contact customers at the appropriate time to create additional showroom activity. This position plays a key role in the successful delivery of a professional and high quality first line response to enquiries.

Key Responsibilites:

Responding to all forms of enquiry (web, email, social media) acting as the first contact point.

Acting as a link between sales executives and digital customers.

Maintaining digital presence on the website via webchat. 

Logging and tracking leads, ensuring all are followed through.

Following up appointments that didn’t show.

Contact businesses or private individuals to obtain appointments.

Monitoring enquires to improve quality, minimise errors and track performance.

Follow up lost sales. 

Ensure vehicles on the website are maintained with vehicle images/videos, relevant information and attention grabbers to promote customer interaction and generate leads and enquiries.

Knowledge/Skills/Experience/Special Requirements:

Excellent communication, administrative and organisational Skills.

Demonstrate high levels of customer service.

A good level of education with qualifications in English and Maths.

Accuracy in use of oral and written English for answering queries by telephone, and in writing, and composing emails.

Excellent IT/Microsoft Office skills.

Ability to prioritise workloads.

Work well within a team.

Ability to work on own initiative or with minimum supervision and have a ‘can do’ approach.

Hours of Work:
