Former professional cricketer, Jim Watts spent a career at Northamptonshire County Cricket Club, captaining the side for 7 years during his playing days from 1959 to 1980. Now living in Llanfyllin with his wife, Elaine, Jim has just taken ownership of his latest Ford car from the Greenhous Ford dealership in Newtown.

Sales executive, Neil Pritchard was standing by to hand over the keys and unveil the first sale of the all new Ford Fiesta from the Newton dealership.  Jim has bought Fords from Neil over many years and is now the proud owner of a new Deep Impact Blue Ford Fiesta Zetec 1.0l 100PS.

Jim scored nearly 14,500 runs in first class matches and took 333 wickets with his right arm medium pace bowling. He took his team to the Gillette Cup semi-final and won the Benson and Hedges Cup. He retired from cricket to concentrate on a teaching career and was the successful proprietor of the Merton House Prep School in Chester.

Neil and the staff at Greenhous Newtown wish Jim many hours of happy motoring.
