​New ‘All-wheel drive’ Ford Transit heads off to the building sites.​

Greenhous Ford of Newtown are delighted to provide regular customer Tony Price with another Ford Transit van for his specialist building team to use.  This one has the added dimension of being an ‘all-wheel drive’ version.

Tony Price Builders of Llandrindod Wells were founded in 1982, Tony Price Builders undertake the whole range of building work including new builds, complete refurbishments, all types of roof works, fibre glass flat roofing, slate, tile, profile sheeting, bathrooms, wet-rooms, extensions, disabled ramps, tarmacking and fencing Photovoltaic solar systems etc. The company employs staff with all specialisms covered; Heating Engineers, Electricians, Plumbers, Carpenters, Decorators, Bricklayers, Machine Operators and Ground workers.

They are now registered to supply and install electric chargers for motor vehicles.

Tony explained the range of the works carried out by the company saying:“We operate from Welshpool through to Abergavenny and have established ourselves as the ‘go to’ builders for a host of clients. For example, we look after church properties in the Swansea and Brecon Diocese and Brecon Cathedral. Powys County Council also employ us to service and maintain farms, schools and public buildings, sheltered housing with all disabled adaptations including handrails, ramps and quick release doors across their region. We also build new homes for private customers.

“We have been customers of Greenhous Ford for some years now and we have Ford connect and Transit vans in our fleet.This latest Ford Transit is an L2H2 350 all-wheel drive 2 litre 130PS and is kitted out with ply-lining, roof rack and rear door ladder.As a 4x4 it will be able to access terrain that the normal vans would struggle with. We are very pleased with the performance so far.”
