​Adam passes his Management Accountant exams with flying colours.​

Based at Greenhous in Featherbed Lane, Adam Harris is a Management Accountant with particular responsibility for the Greenhous Ford accounts.Having started with Greenhous as Finance Apprentice in September 2011, Adam has worked hard to improve his knowledge and skills securing the reward of passing his ACCA qualification.

Adam who is from Shrewsbury, attended Mary Webb School and the Shrewsbury Sixth Form College before joining Greenhous. Initially he worked for the Vauxhall dealership studying for 3 years to attain his AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) certification.After a spell working for Greenhous Volvo he has now settled into the management of the Greenhous Ford accounts which takes him each week out to Newtown in Powys.

Adam says of his ACCA journey: “It was a three year course spent out of hours and weekends and evenings.I could log on line for lectures that were being beamed around the globe.My final challenge was to take 12 exams based at the Albrighton Hall Hotel.Now I have passed I have membership of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and have letters, ACCA, after my name!”

David Morris, Group Financial Controller, is warm in his praise of Adam’s commitment to his job saying: “Adam has shown great self-motivation to achieve his ACCA qualification.I congratulate him on achieving his goal whilst working full-time.He has grown in confidence and accepted responsibility readily.”

Adam has recently married Cherise who herself has just qualified as a nurse at Royal Shrewsbury Hospital. So a treble celebration ensued.Adam also admits that his other passion is Shrewsbury Town Football Club where he is a season ticket holder.
